Craig Bonno



Hey! My name is Craig Bonno, last name pronounced(Bun-o). I have been playing guitar since 1996 and have been teaching Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele at Jim’s Music since 2003. I have also taken guitar lessons from Jim Dombrowski and Chad Gustafson from 1996-2003. I have taught all ages from 4-80 years old and I enjoy all styles of music and theory from classical to metal. I have been in three bands in Escanaba and have experience writing instrumental music and guitar duets. I also play drums and have played percussion in school concert and marching band. Nick Protosoff



Nikolai Protasoff Has been teaching percussion for over twelve years. His background includes high school Jazz Band, concert band and marching band. Mary Bastian

Mary Bastian has been a band director for over 27 years and a church pianist for 10 years. Mary teaches all levels of brass instruments from beginner to advanced as well as beginner to intermediate levels for woodwinds. On top of that Mary is also a piano instructor, talk about talent! Bill Rinne

Escanaba native Bill Rinne has played piano and trumpet for over 30 years. He studied music at Lawrence University and Western Michigan University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in music education. Since then, Bill has taught school band, general music, choir and private lessons for over 20 years. He has also sang, played trumpet and keyboards for many different bands, choirs and musicals in a variety of styles. Give the Escanaba store a call to sign up for lessons.

Lou LaMarche

Lou LaMarche has been playing guitar for over 8 years, as well as the ukulele and bass guitar. He took lessons from Craig Bonno right here at Jim’s Music in Escanaba. He started out in music playing saxophone, from elementary school to high school. Lou enjoys playing many different styles of music, from funk and smooth jazz, to classic rock and metal.
